Nick Lachey Dishes on Son Camden, Vanessa Lachey's Second Pregnancy: "I Could Not Be More Excited"

"I had a great time," the singer tells Us of his experience on the show. "The spring season was kind of a bit of a trial for me — I'd never done that before. I wanted to step in and see how the experience was and make sure, like any relationship, both sides enjoyed being in the relationship. Thankfully, we did, and it's great to be back and doing it again."
He's also continuing his decades-long music career, as the former boy bander finishes work on his upcoming album, a covers record called Soundtrack of My Life

"The good thing about music is you can kind of do it whenever you find time to do it," he explains to Us. "This project actually started a few years ago… [I'm] thrilled that it's finally gonna come out on November 11. It's called Soundtrack of My Life and it's a cover album — it's all songs from movie soundtracks that were impactful to me and meaningful to me. That right song can bring out such a great moment in a film, and I really wanted to try to pay tribute to that through this album."

gearing up for the return of Big Morning Buzz Live by doing a little role reversal with the hosts of Today. In the game “Orange Room Roulette” Al RokerNatalie MoralesWillie Geist, and Tamron Hall are asked the questions for a change, while Nick proves how much of kick-ass (and charming) host he is.
Only Nick can get away with asking the Today anchors about underwear and their most embarrassing moments. Lucky for you, there will be a lot more where that came from with the return of Big Morning Buzz Live, kicking off on Monday, September 29 at 9AM. This just goes to show that nothing is off limits when it comes to Nick and his morning crew.

So Cute! Camden Lachey Celebrates His Second Birthday

SOURCE

Happy birthdayCamden John!

For their son’s second birthday, Nick and Vanessa Lachey put on their hard hats and created an adorable party zone for their little guy.
And we have to admit: We totally wish we were a part of this crew.
“Cam’s construction themed birthday party this past weekend was soooo fun!” she wrote Wednesday on Instagram.
The mom-to-be added a fun twist to the traditional construction color palette with bright hues of reds, purples, blues and — of course — orange, which could be seen on everything from the outdoor decor to the creative invites.
“I wanted some color instead of the typical black, yellow orange and brown. So here’s what we came up with,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a snapshot of his invitations. “I LOVE the pop of color!”

Guests were encouraged to dig in to the delicious delicacies, including construction-themed cupcakes and cake pops — all set up under a “high sugar voltage” warning sign — and a refueling station filled with drinks.
The actress put together her own set of blueprints (photos!) for her dream cake. And it was a job well done from Cakes by Rumy, who created a three-tiered dessert, complete with all of Camden’s favorites.
“Cam’s birthday cake was perfect! He loves tires so we decided on a huge wheel base,” Vanessa, who dressed the part of forewoman in overalls and a red bandana, wrote.
Before quitting time, the mini workers went home with tool boxes.
Caution, Nick and Vanessa: Now entering the terrible twos.

Drew & Nick Lachey's Chicken Dance!

SOURCE

Cincinnati got a funky dose of two of its favorite things on Saturday -- the Lachey brothers and the Chicken Dance.
The Queen City natives led thousands of people in attendance at the 2014 Oktoberfest Zinzinnati celebration at Fountain Square. The former boy-band members are the official Grand Marshals of the annual event, which is one of the biggest Oktoberfests in the world.
"Some might feel the pressure is more on me than Drew," Nick said before the brotherly dance-off. "I've set the bar so low that no one expects anything from me. Drew, on the other hand, Dancing with the Stars champion, has all the pressure. I'm just going to sit back and watch."
So, who did better, Nick or Drew?
You can watch the Lacheys get the crowd going in the media player above. Don't worry, you won't be judged if you start dancing in your seat.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

City officials and organizers of the annual Oktoberfest Zinzinnati announced Friday that Nick and Drew Lachey will be this year's grand marshals.
The major responsibility of the grand marshal is to lead the self-proclaimed "World's Largest Chicken Dance."
There's been a variety of grand marshals over the years. George Takei from "Star Trek" led the dance in 2013, while other marshals have included former Reds stars Joe Morgan and Tom Browning, former Bengal Chad Johnson, Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil and music satirist Weird Al Yankovic.
Originally from Cincinnati, Nick and Drew Lachey attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts and later rose to fame as memebrs of the boy band 98 Degrees.

98 Degrees' Jeff Timmons talks new solo dance single 'That Girl'

    SOURCE
    BY MARKOS PAPADATOS

Jeff Timmons, best known as the founding member of the Grammy-nominated pop group 98 Degrees, is back with a new single "That Girl.

The genuine musician took some time from his busy schedule to chat with me about his latest single, which marks his debut in the electronic dance music (EDM) genre. "I want the fans to keep an open mind and I hope they enjoy it. It's a fun song and it's something that I wanted to try. It sounds great and I was fortunate enough to write it with some great writers. It's a new direction for me and hopefully everybody will keep an open mind and give it a chance," he said. "A lot of people are getting us confused with the effect that is on the vocal, and think that it is auto-tune, but it is more of a Daft Punk and robotic effect on just the lead vocal, not the hook or the chorus."

Timmons added, "There is a label group called Dauman Music, and it's a dance label, and they have been around for quite a while. They have had close to 60 Top 10 hits on the Billboard dance charts. A lot of people have been trying to get me to do that genre of music for a long time. I have had a lot of up-tempo songs on my own, and I never ventured into that market before. In 98 Degrees, we were known as balladeers, and the only dance song we had was 'Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche),' so it was something that I have been curiously trying to explore for a while. The guys at Dauman Music offered me the opportunity to do this, and I am excited to be a part of it."
Jeff Timmons That Girl cover art
He noted that he filmed the music video for the song, which is looking great. "The video has a pretty girl in it, and it is a dance song, so they are going to use a lot of ambiance, and it's just an interesting type of song. I am so excited about this genre, since I am so used to doing pop and R&B. I don't know what to expect. I'm like a little kid in a candy store. I can't wait to see what happens with it, since I am tapping into a new audience," he said.
Just when you thought that one cannot love Jeff Timmons any more, two weeks ago, he wrote a touching post on Instagram, praising his wife Amanda for all of her support, which read as follows: "This woman is so beautiful. Despite what many think, I'm always on the road, hustling, and am alone. A lot. I thank GOD everyday I have her. Always by my side. Always there when not many others are. Amanda you're incredible inside and out, and I honestly don't know what I would do without you, my love."
"Amanda is the best," he admitted. "Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich, studied the most successful entrepreneurs and businessmen over the course of 20 years, and what he discovered was that 'behind every good man is a good woman.' I never really believed in it, until I met my wife, and then I realized that she was the source of energy and support, that enables me to go out, sing, write, do music and do TV, and all of these things that I would not be able to do if I didn't have her in my life. My wife is the best."
In the future, he has a few television shows planned, as well as a scripted TV show of his own. "I am really getting into music, not only on my own songs, but I will be producing other folks," he said.
In addition, the male revue, "Men of the Strip," have four shows taking place at the D Las Vegas Showroom on August 28, 29, 30 and 31, which were produced by Timmons, and Glenn Packard served as their creative director.

Nick on Camden ‘Discovering His Personality’

    SOURCE
    – Anya Leon with reporting by Christina Dugan

Nick Lachey may have already taught son Camden John a lot of new things — but learning to test the limits wasn’t one of them.
With the VH1 host and wife Vanessa‘s son set tocelebrate his second birthday in September, the couple are learning firsthand what the terrible twos entail.
“He knows the word ‘no’ — of course he didn’t learn it from me, but he knows the word,” Lachey told PEOPLE at friend Matt Leinart‘s 8th annual Celebrity Bowl for Charity on Thursday.
“He’s a typical 2-year-old. He sees how much he can get away with and pushes the end of the envelope, but it’s a lot of fun.”
But the proud dad admits there’s plenty of exciting times, too. “It’s a great age. He’s discovering his personality, he’s getting into everything [and] he’s talking like crazy,” he says. “They start to figure things out and push their boundaries.”

The next lesson Lachey will learn: how to double up on parenting duties. The couple are expecting their second child — a girl! — later this year.
As for how Vanessa is handling pregnancy (and any possible cravings!) the second time around? “You’re going to have to ask her that!” Lachey teases.
