Thanks again to Juan Manila Express & MCA Music (Universal Philippines) for the invites to cover “The GreAtest Hits Tour“. I’ve been a fan of these boys ever since 1999 and have myself their original cassette tapes and CDs. The good old years were yelling and having hand gestures when singing was okay.
February 25th was the night to remember once again! A post-Valentine treat from Wilbros, MCA Music  (Universal Philippines) and Smart Araneta Coliseum where 3 of the hottest boybands of my generation hits the stage in one memorable concert. Blue, A1 and Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees comes to Manila once again to sing their Greatest Hits and launch their new albums as well.
The concert started pretty much on schedule. Jeff Timmons graced the stage first and sang 98 degrees tracks for yelling fans. Being anxious and nervous as he says on stage, He just said “YES” if a band as great as South Border / Jay Durias would be there for him.
Timmons also sang his new single from his upcoming album, serenaded a lady from the audience and shocked us with his version of South Border’s “Rainbow” which was fairly awesome! Though Jay Durias always nails it big time!

After the short break, A1 pumped the whole coliseum with fans yelling, crying out for Ben, waving like crazy  and immediately put all video recording device turned on. Too sad they lost one member but the performance was still fantastic and with so many girls going gaga over the songs, you can’t help but get goosebumps too.
They sang all their hits from Like A Rose, Caught in the Middle, Everytime, One More Try and many more plus new singles from their newest album “Waiting for Daylight” which was poptastic!
A1 also got the house partying with their version of Black Eyed Peas “I Gotta Feeling” and Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face”.

Lastly its pretty obvious that the hunks of Blue are next and the crowds yelling got more crazier! The boys of Blue came in tux and sexy dapper looks and started singing Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word, Breathe Easy, If You Come Back and You make wanna.
