Vanessa and Nick Lachey are getting in the mood this Halloween. 

On Thursday, the 39-year-old Vanessa took to Instagram to share a glimpse at the 'Lachey BONEyard' decoration with a cheeky photo next to 46-year-old husband Nick. 

In the snap, the couple of nine years are seen on the front stoop of their Encino, California mansion surrounded by decorations, with one particularly notable piece between Nick's legs that stood out. 

Just in time for spooky season, Vanessa showed off her decorations with the caption, 'It's OCTOBER!!! Lachey BONEyard in full effect! We LOVE Halloween...who's with me?!?

The innuendo was quick to garner a comment of the same caliber from Nick, as he retorted back on Instagram. 

Things went into overdrive on the double entendre front as he commented, 'Why do I look so "stiff" in this picture? You get me "excited" for Halloween. Glad covid didn't give us the "shaft" on decorating.'

She spares no expense when it comes to birthdays, throwing the biggest parties for her five children.

But for once it was Tori Spelling who got to celebrate, after she joined husband Dean McDermott at an early Halloween bash.

The two were invited to party by pals Nick and Vanessa Lachey, who clearly love a celebration as much as 46-year-old Tori.

Posting pictures from the bash to her Instagram page, Tori wrote: 'You know what I did last weekend? We 80’s it upped and went to our friends Vanessa and Nick Lachey's Fast Times at Lachey High/Die Halloween Party'

Tori explained: 'If you are wondering about costumes: Vanessa (wig off and her hair down at this point in the program) was Mr Hand & Nick was Spicoli as a Fast Times tribute. 

'Dean and I were just a couple of loving the 80’s life party goers straight out of Valley Girl and inevitably King and Queen of Lachey High.'

Tori wore a huge flouncy pink skirt for the bash, sharing a picture of it discarded on her bedroom floor post-party.

'Vanessa Lachey my 80's skirt has been in this spot ion my room since the party Friday night... I'm considering making it into a lamp,' she wrote on Instagram.

Tori loves a good party, sparking no expense creating fabulous themed bashes for her children Liam, 12, Stella, 11, Hattie, seven, Finn, also seven, and two-year-old Beau with Dean.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey really got into the Halloween spirit this year. Wearing red overcoats and top hats, the spouses of two years dressed up as circus ringleaders. Their 13-month-old son, Camden, wore a lion's costume and held hands with both parents outside of the Lachey Carnival.
Vanessa, 32, shared a picture of their festive looks via Twitter on Sunday, Oct. 27. "Step right up and Welcome to The Lachey CarnEVIL! We even managed to tame a cute lion," she captioned.


On Saturday, the actress shared a snapshot of her pre-party prep. "Setting up for our Halloween party and I'm soooo sick from all the candy I've eaten!" she tweeted. Vanessa stocked up on a variety of sweets, including Snickers, M&M's, Skittles, Butterfinger, 3 Musketeers, Starburst and Ring Pops.
In addition to celebrating Halloween, Vanessa is also celebrating Fox's full-season pickup on Dads. "Woohoo! @DADSonFOX You make me sooo Happy! I Love YOU!" she tweeted.


Of course, that achievement pales in comparison to Camden's latest milestones. "This teething thing is no joke.....nobody warns you about that!" Nick, 39, tweeted Oct .16. "Poor little guy."
Vanessa also has her husband's sympathies. "So, I managed 13 months with Camden and no poop in the tub," she tweeted Oct. 23. "Well... that streak was broken tonight... no pun intended."

He's just six weeks old and already Camden John Lachey is ready for his first Halloween. While the infant isn't going to don adorable athletic Halloween gear to root for dad Nick Lachey's beloved sports teams on Oct. 31, he'll have a look that's just as cute: Stars Wars' Yoda.

"We're thinking of a Star Wars theme: I'm going to be Han Solo, Vanessa will be Princess Leia, the baby will be Yoda, and our dog is going to be a Wookiee," proud papa Lachey tells Rachael Ray in a pre-Halloween interview airing Oct. 29. The only character missing from the family's ensemble? Luke Skywalker! "Maybe I'll make [brother] Drew be [that character]," Lachey hints.

Welcoming Camden on Sept. 12, Lachey, 38, tells Ray that he relishes the first-time daddy duties -- and dirty diapers! -- that come along with having a newborn.

"The sleep deprivation and all the stuff that people warn you about, [I was] so ready to do it, because it's your first-born. I'm not scared of that kind of stuff," Lachey tells Ray. "I'm in there changing diapers, and anything I can do to help out be a part of this whole thing, because they don't stay this [age]forever. I want to take every moment and really appreciate it."

Married to wife Vanessa, 31, since July 2011, the former 98 Degrees singer has developed a new appreciation for the Wipeout hostess since she gave birth to Camden.

"Motherhood really suits her," Lachey enthuses of his bride. "The last three weeks [of her pregnancy] she started to get pretty antsy . . . but she was of the sexiest pregnant women I've ever seen. "The whole experience was really good," he adds of pregnancy, "It makes me think we have to do it again!"
