An Intimate Evening with Jeff Timmons.

Who?! The first reaction of Sarah and I when we came across the poster at Sg Wang. His picture didn't trigger any memory in my mind either. Only after we saw the fine print below his name;
"of 98 Degrees"

oh him! that founder guy of 98 Degrees! Somehow i only remember Nick Lachey being in the band and the rest were... a blur....

those you still don't know who 98 Degrees are, they were the guys who sang "I Do (cherish You)" and "Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)"
One of the popular boy bands in 1997-2002.

It has always been a 'thing' for most boy/girl bands to have a member that really stands out compared to the rest huh.
Cuz they're cuter? A better singer? Married a bigger celebrity? Biggest hits for the paparazzi? Who knows

Back to Jeff Timmons, due to his lack of popularity with the Malaysian crowd (despite the words "of 98 Degrees"), I would say that the Jeff Timmons road show in Sg Wang was a disappointment, crowd wise. The crowd during his performance were little and many obviously didn't know who he was. I guess it's the PR's fault too, setting up that show on a Tuesday afternoon, after a lunch hour.

Well, at least some people were happy with the show.

Okay, so today (or more like yesterday) Lea and I went to Quattro to meet Jeff Timmons.

Lea and I re-living our groupie days -_- (which btw, we so fail at!! We saw him outside the club, but just stared at each other and missed an opportunity to take picture with him and have a conversation, SO FAIL!)

He was the former 98 degrees guy who is now a solo singer thingy ma jig. In case your forgot, he looks beefed up like this:

You know how they say come backs are really sad? Well, today, Lea and I saw how sad it was, literally.

The crowd was not layan-ing him also. He was singing but no one’s listening. No one layan him at all. Then when he finished singing, the DJ played this famous hip-hop song, and everyone screamed louder than they applauded for Jeff. Maybe the club crowd isn’t what he was looking for.

Anyways, we layaned him when he sang. But just the two of us, where got enough. We managed to run after him in the OHHMAAIIIGOOSSHH super packed Quattro club and took a photo with him. It was after his final performance and owh boy was he a bit angry. Lea heard some squabbles and frustrated comments that he told his manager.

Feel so sad for him. but nontheless, we did maage to take some pictures and picture with him.

Good Luck Jeff! I need to hear your songs clearly again! hahaha

::Jeff T.' Road Tour 2008:: Part 1

When we heard the cancellation of road tour, all of us are so sad, and also tired because tons of preparation done. Then, when we heard the road tour is on again, all of us so excited and thought it will be awesome road tour. But it is a big challenge for us, because there is not only one or two problems, but more than that.

The first day, it is truly not our fault because the catering sponsors all of sudden can’t do it, then we have to handle ourselves, from the table arranging to the food caterings and the services included. I still remember what happened that day, clearly in my mind, where everyone from different department helping each other. Effa from Sport TV helped manager to get the caterings stuffs, me and Madonna went to help as their car too small, both ours also small car, and then Marea as coordinator stay at Head Quarter with others deejays waiting for us. When we back, we started to arrange the table with Constantine, Mary and Jaslynn, while Nigel and Navsta, they all help with the food. Then, all of us helped to put the cloth on the chair, chair cover? I think so… My friend who suppose to come for the dinner have to help me with the dinner, and she happy also.

Got interview then, I have to welcome Jeff Timmons from the entrance and bring them in to do the interview, after that bring up Jeff Timmons cause the fans is not arrive yet, to prevent awkward situation, I make the decision to bring up Jeff Timmons and burn minus-1 track to him for the performances. Bring down Jeff, and then start the whole dinner, end with perfect timing and they go back with a great smile, fans is happy everyone is happy.

We as the TRAXXfm crew have to clean up everything, and wait for tomorrow…Everyone is tired.
