CINCINNATI —He's been in a boy band, on a reality show and recently opened a bar in Over the Rhine.
Now Nick Lachey has set his sights on the marijuana industry.
Lachey announced that he has joined the "Responsible Ohio" movement to legalize marijuana in Ohio.
Lachey has invested in one of the 10 potential grow sites on a property in Summit County in upstate Ohio.
Lachey released a statement on Wednesday.
"Ohio is my home, and as a resident and local business owner I am proud to be part of a movement that has the potential to create jobs, reinvigorate the local economy and improve the safety of our communities."
Responsible Ohio has until July first to collect nearly 306,000 signatures to get the issue on the November ballot.
They're gathering signatures Thursday and Friday at their office on West Court Street.
