Who’s the Better Show Host, The Sing-Off’s Nick Lachey or The Voice’s Carson Daly?

Carson Daly or Nick Lachey?

When it comes to a reality competition shows, a host can make or break a season (see: Brian Dunkleman and Khloe Kardashian), but NBC’sThe Sing-Off seems to have found itself a charismatic keeper in Nick Lachey. But how does he stack up against NBC’s other top reality show host, Carson Daly?
When Wetpaint Entertainment posed that question to Viggle LIVE! users, a whooping 75 percent chose Nick as the better show host, while The Voice maestro only pulled in 25 percent of the vote. It’s a good thing Nick and Carson don’t have to compete on NBC’s fall lineup, given that The Sing-Off fills in the singing reality competition show void left by The Voice in December.
Perhaps Viggle users were swayed by Nick’s swoon-worthy vocal talents, which he showed off during Monday night’s Sing-Off finale when he sang “It Had to Be You” with judge Jewel. We would have fallen for that performance, too!
Of course, there’s also the fact that Nick has more time — something that Carson is constantly afraid of running out of on The Voice — to show off his personality with the acts and the judges, as The Sing-Off isn’t so pressed for time. (It’s a feel good holiday acapella show, after all.)
However, there’s something to be said for Carson’s pseudo-bromance with Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. Sure, it’s not nearly on the same level as Blake and Adam’s, but he tries. Seeing how his two kids often keep him from enjoying a proper guys night with his Voice crew, maybe fellow Hollywood dad Nick is available to hang, Carson! You know what they say: if you can’t beat him, you might as well join him.
