Fidos who have dreamed of being a canine Gene Kelly or Leslie Caron for a day kicked up their paws at an event that had dog devotees dancing for joy as the new Banfield Pet Hospital in Portland, Oregon opened its doors to the pet-loving public.
Judged by multi-platinum recording artist/former Dancing with the Star winner and Anna Trebunskaya, one of the high-stepping hoofers on the hit ABC show, the skilled Spots wiggled and pranced to enchant the crowd.
Waltzing away with the hearts of the judges, a talented tail-wagged named Maggie won dance lesson for her parent (Joyell Hardy) with Drew Lachey and Anna Trabunskaya. The winner, as well as two runners up, also received a year’s worth of free veterinary care through Banfield’s Optimum Wellness Plan.
ll of the Rovers cut a rug for a good cause, as the doggie dance-off helped to draw attention to the new Banfield Pet Hospital of West Hills, which will donate 20 percent of its grand opening weekend revenue to the Bonnie Hays Small Animal Shelter
