Nick & Drew Lachey Sighting

Thanks to the girls at the Nickfantic
Board for finding this. I do not know these people. Just a neat little story that was found on another forum with Nick & Drew looking OH SO cute!!

Source
I would like to give a big thank you to my mom, Aunt Maryjean and Nana for making it possible to go out with all the cousins for one wild and crazy night. We rented a van and worked our way through a small portion of Scottsdale. Our first stop was to this unique little restaurant/bar/marketplace called Olive and Ivy Restaurant and Marketplace. It was very strange to be in this bar where a DJ played music and also view different things on the menu around the corner in the restaurant portion. This place was so unique and a little pricey, but I have my brother Chris to thank because we all unwittingly purchased drinks on his tab and at the end of the night he still paid for it all. Thanks Bro! We ended up getting a little tipsy and who did we run into? Well, Nick and Drew Lachey!!! Of course, me being the brazen drunk girl, I interrupted him mid-conversation with a hot blonde and asked for his picture. Yes, I was one of those people that night. He was reluctant to give it to me saying that he was burned in the past before by the Phoenix Sun. I told him not too worry because I was from Texas to which he replied, "Oh, well that's a double x." Because I was tipsy, I didn't hear that part or I would have responded with something like, "there are a few people who give it a bad name or something." Instead, like a true warrior, I hopped on over to Drew--his manager now and picture attorney--to plead my case.

I basically told him I loved him on Dancing with the Stars...not a total lie. You see, I have only watched one season and it happened to be season #2, his reign. I didn't catch the first season and some people tried to sway me into watching, so I caved and did start watching. I actually enjoyed watching him, but overall I found the show boring--no offense to those who enjoy it. Not my cup of tea. I am obsessed with Big Brother. I do admit, unfortunately; but that's a different post. Needless to say, I have not watched another season of Dancing with the Stars.

So, getting back to my story....it was not a complete lie. I think this buttered Drew up because he allowed us to take a picture with the both of them. I did think this was nice and at the end of the evening, I walked up to Nick and thanked him for being so cool about it. He was gracious and kind saying, "No problem. You guys have a good night." So this is how the sighting came to be. He didn't seem as tall, still cute though. In the picture he is wearing a shirt identical to one that Ryan owns, although I happen to think Ryan wears it better. I'm just saying...

Looks like whoever took this picture was a little tipsy as well!

More about HSM

Nick Lachey to Host High School Musical Reality Series
Looks like someone's headed back into the magical land of reality television! The former Mr. Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey, has signed on to host the new reality talent competition High School Musical: Summer Session. A bit of a change of pace from Newlyweds, but hey, no celeb in their right mind would ever turn down the opportunity to be a part of HSM history.

Nick Lachey at Disneyland

I just came across this on Youtube. A couple of girls were in Disneyland in Cali & happened to catch Nick there. You can see the people standing around taking pictures of him. Looks as if he was filming something!! Wonder what it was??

It has now been confirmed that Nick was there filming the HSM show for the summer!!! Another video has been found!

A few of these are pretty similar to the LAX pics. A few are different!

Nick Plays Chaffeur Now, Reality Show Host Later
Nick Lachey was nice enough to lend his LAX expertise to Drew and his family, dropping them off for a flight on Friday. He'll have to cut back on his busy life of jet-setting now that he's got a new gig all lined up. Nick's Summer plans include hosting a High School Musical-type reality show. Not as relaxing as vacationing with his lady, but sounds like a good gig while she pursues her career as a serious actress.

Oh, That Wacky Uncle Nick

Photobucket

Nick Lachey looked a little sillier than usual today, as he attempted to entertain his niece Isabella after dropping her off, along with his brother Drew and Drew's wife Lea, at Los Angeles International Airport today.

Before sending the relatives off, Uncle Nick made funny faces at little Isabella in an effort to get a laugh out of the tot.

Now those are some solid uncle skills. Though he probably did the same thing with Jessica Simpson.

We can imagine the nights those two spent together, with Nick jiggling his keys as Jessica looked on in mesmerized awe. Or throwing a blanket over Jessica's head, then pulling it off while squealing, "Peek-a-boo!" and Jessica giggling with amazement that everything was still in the same place it was before the world went black.

We don't know why they didn't include those moments as extras on the DVDs of Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.

Ohio House set to honor Team Lachey

Choir members invited to dine with Gov. Strickland

COLUMBUS - Team Lachey, the 20-member amateur choir that won television's "Clash of the Choirs" on Dec. 20, is expected to be honored today on the floor of the Ohio House.

State Rep. Dale Mallory, a West End Democrat, will present about half the amateur ensemble's members a resolution. Also nicknamed "Team Cincinnati," the choir won $250,000 for Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center during a live four-night NBC television contest.

Chuck Merk, a Lakota West High School math teacher who sings with the choir, said about 10 choir members also have been invited to a private reception with Gov. Ted Strickland.

College Hill native Nick Lachey, the choir's director, is unable to attend today's ceremonies.

"We appreciate good deeds," said Cynthia Ellis, Mallory's legislative aide. "They've done so much for Cincinnati. I'm tickled pink."

Team Lachey has performed locally several times since its nationally-televised victory, including at the Reds' season opener March 30. The choir sang "Amazing Grace" to mark the passing of Joe Nuxhall and fellow Reds Bob Purkey, Bob Howsam and Chief Bender this past offseason.

During the December finale in New York, the ensemble sang "Sing A Song" by Earth, Wind & Fire, and the 1967 Louis Armstrong classic, "What A Wonderful World." Choirs from Philadelphia, Houston, Oklahoma City and New Haven, Conn., also competed.

Staff writer John Kiesewetter contributed.

Drew Lachey welcomes you to a virtual dog park

Source

Should your dog be on Times Square?

Drew Lachey and his German shepherd, Luka, have teamed up with Purina Dog Chow to help turn Times Square into a virtual dog park.

Through April 28, dog lovers can go to www.pictureyourdogintimessquare.com to upload a favorite photo of their dog (or dogs) to create the nation's largest virtual dog park.

On June 19, valid photos will be featured on the Reuters/NASDAQ Digital Tower Billboards in Times Square. The digital displays also will be simulcast on the Purina Dog Chow virtual online dog park at www.longliveyourdog.com so you don't need to be at Times Square to see your dog.

If you register with Long Live Your Dog, you can take part in a chance to win a five-day, four-night getaway to New York City with a guest and your dog.

Dog lovers also can send customized voice messages from Lachey through a viral voice message to family and friends.

Real-life dog parks will also benefit, as Dog Chow is creating a dog park grant program. Up to $40,000 will be given away to provide funding for maintenance and upkeep of dog-friendly and off-leash areas.

Nick Lachey set to star in the finale of Fresh Takes

Source
Nick Lachey gave everyone in LA tickets to the gun show yesterday when he went out to buy groceries. Those tattoos used to be regulars on MTV, and they're making a return to the network next week — he's set to star in the finale of Fresh Takes, the Dove-sponsored miniseries starring Alicia Keys that airs during The Hills. Not exactly the kind of comeback that we're hoping Nick would have, but some work is better than no work ... right? As an added bonus, the show is only 5 minutes long, so Nick will still have lots of time to do the important things in life — like hit the gym.
