MYXph spoke with the former member of the 90s boy band, 98 Degrees, Jeff Timmons, to talk about teaming up with A1 and Blue on their Greatest Hits Tour this coming February 25 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. According to him, he's been in the Philippines three or four times, and he can't wait to be back!
"They treat us like rock stars over there!" Jeff shared during our phone interview. "Everybody's so warm and greets you with a smile."
He remembers a particular visit to Manila where he had to be ushered in because of the mob of people. "It was filled with people," he recalled. "We felt like the Beatles!"
After 98 Degrees parted ways, Jeff Timmons has released a solo album, toured with Jim Brickman, appeared in a reality TV series, and has recently performed with The Chippendales for a limited run in Las Vegas.
When asked if he's still in touch with Nick, Drew, and Justin, Jeff replied in the affirmative. In fact, he said they just ran into each other during his stint in Las Vegas. Naturally, the possibility of a reunion was brought up. To this, Jeff replied, "Never say never." Though, it might take a while, as the four guys are busy doing their own thing.
For now, you can catch Jeff as he teams up with A1 and Blue this month, where concert-goers will be treated to some nostalgic music with Jeff performing some 98 Degrees hits.
