Forget those typical one-night affairs, Nick Lachey's big brother (and best man) celebrated the former boy bander's last days of bachelorhood with a weekend of festivities in Las Vegas, before he marries Vanessa Minnillo later this year.
So, what went down?
The party started Friday at the Venetian Hotel's TAO nightclub, with nearly 30 of Nick's friends in tow, including pro baller Matt Leinart and former 98 Degrees bandmates Drew and Justin Jeffre.
"When you get to this point in life, you know, I'm 37, and my college roommates from two different universities, all my high school friends, [have] all [moved] on in life," Lachey told Us Weekly. "A lot of these guys have kids and don't see each other as much as we used to, so this is an opportunity—or an excuse, really—to get together and tie one on for old time's sake."
And since it's really not a celebration without cake to top off the evening, Nick and company snacked on a custom ball-and-chain cake, inscribed with "Property of Vanessa."
Next, it was off to Tao Beach Saturday, where the group reconvened in a cabana and Nick was treated to a performance by a "mini Vanessa" (a surprise from his absent fiancée). After the tiny performer dropped off a bottle of Veuve Clicquot at the table, Nick cracked it open, sprayed the crowd, and kept the party going.
So, when will Nick and Vanessa make it official?
The longtime couple still has yet to announce the date, but whenever they do tie the knot, however, the duo will be televising their big day via a TLC special.
In other words, check local listings to see if you're invited.
