Early in life, Nick Lachey wanted a career in sports medicine. But he couldn't dismiss his special musical talents so easily, and while a student at Miami University in Ohio, he helped launch the supergroup 98 Degrees. Now out on his own, Lachey continues to compose and perform worldwide, and is also an accomplished actor with many TV credits.
Currently, he is working with V8, which has teamed up with Feeding America's National Produce Program to launch the Make Every Serving Count campaign. This program will help provide more than 30 million servings of fresh vegetables and fruit to those in need. Purchasing V8 100% Juices and Campbell's V8 soups through February helps support the brand's $1 million donation. For more info: www.V8counts.com and www.nicklachey.com
Q . How can the average person help Feeding America?

A . By supporting the V8 brand and enjoying the products, anyone can help. V8 has new soups on the shelves, plus the Fusion blends of juices, so it's easy to find something delicious for the entire family.
Q . You're in great shape, muscular and tough. How do you watch your diet to stay fit?
A . In a daily diet, moderation is the key. You hear that all the time, but it's true. I basically stick to a lower carb diet, but don't feel guilty about having occasional snacks. I have a gym at my home, and I make time for regular workouts.
Q . Tell us about your favorite comfort foods.
A . I can't eat it every day, but I am a huge ice cream fan. I also love Snyder's pretzels, and always put my Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies in the freezer.
