CMT's The Singing Bee is returning for a third season beginning April 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The series will again be hosted by Melissa Peterman, who also stars in CMT's comedy series, Working Class. CMT will present two themed episodes this season, including a boy band-themed episode with Bobby Brown (New Edition), Joey Fatone (*NSYNC), Drew Lachey (98°) and Wanya Morris (Boyz II Men) in a competition for the charity of their choice. Also this season, a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders episode will feature cast members from CMT's Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders: Making the Team. Air dates for the special episodes will be announced at a later date. Blending a mix of country music with popular favorites from other genres, The Singing Bee tests contestants' knowledge of lyrics to well-known songs. Those who fail to accurately sing the correct lyrics are eliminated from the competition.
