Insider @LisaLisa98 visits the #H50 set.
#H50 was filming ep. 116 at the Aston Waikiki Hotel, using Tiki’s Grill & Bar (@Tikisgrill) and other areas of the hotel. Grace Park and @danieldaekim were shooting that day. @Littlesrule the #VacationingInsider also joined the fun. The crew even asked us to sit in the background of a scene as they changed the camera angle towards the pool. Not like we’ll get real airtime, but it was fun to be participating in a #H50 scene! I got to see all the scenes that whole day – the end of the day was the BEST part. But as the ep has not been shown, I will post No spoilers!
The #H50 Crew were all very awesome and friendly. It was cool to see them filming and be thiiiiis close to everyone and everything! Respect their rules and they will respect you back. ‘Nuff said. Thanks for the memories, #H50 Crew!

Hawaii Five-O! Nick Lachey takes several bullets to chest during guest spot on hit show
That looks like it must hurt.
Pop star turned actor Nick Lachey was spotted with bullet holes in his chest as he walked around a film set today.
Of course, they were only make up, with Lachey busy taping a guest spot on the hit CBS crime drama Hawaii Five-O.
Ouch! Nick Lachey's character is shot several times during a guest appearance on the crime drama Hawaii Five-O, yesterday in Honolulu
Wearing a black shirt riddled with fake bullet holes, Nick was snapped staggering around the set yesterday in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The singer and reality star co-stars on the show with his real-life fiancé Vanessa Minnillo.
They play an engaged couple on holiday aboard a cruise ship that is hijacked by pirates, with Vanessa's character taken hostage.
The episode is set to air in February.
Nick, who is Jessica Simpson's ex husband, announced his real life engagement this past November.
Don't fall! Nick appears to be staggering and unsteady on his feet
The former member of boy band 98 Degrees popped the question to TV presenter Vanessa, whom he has been dating on and off since 2006.
'We're excited and incredibly happy about our engagement and we look forward to a wonderful future together,' the couple said in a statement.

Nick & Vanessa : Honolulu Lovers
Situated in the islands for work duties, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo enjoyed a little free time with a leisurely stroll around Honolulu on Thursday (January 20).
The recently engaged couple were both dressed casually as they meandered about a scenic beachfront walkway in between stops at a few streetside vendor booths.
As for the reason behind their trip, Nick and Vanessa are shooting their guest spot on the television show "Hawaii Five-O" - with the episode set to air in February.
With Lachey spotted clad in a wetsuit with a gunshot wound during the course of the day, he and Minnillo are playing an engaged couple during a cruise ship based installment which sees the vessel held hostage by pirates.

Who Should Replace Regis Philbin On 'Live'?
Every week, the MTV Newsroom Blogs takes a look at the celebrities who are appearing on the week's talk shows. While most of the action exists in late night, there is one particular daytime show that has managed to remain fresh and vital despite the age of one of its hosts and the duration it has been on the air. But the daytime talk show landscape is about to get shifted once again, as Regis Philbin announced that he will be retiring as the host of "Live! With Regis and Kelly" as of this summer. It will truly be the end of an era, as Philbin has presided over the show for 28 years.
The show will continue, presumably with Kelly Ripa (who replaced original co-host Kathy Lee Gifford in 2001) and another male co-host. But who will that replacement be? It almost certainly won't be any of the following people, but here are the people they should ask if they really want "Live!" to continue its tradition of excellence in entertainment.
Freddie Prinze, Jr.
Prinze has got the easy charisma and sharp sense of humor that every talk show host needs, and his varied interests (including comedy, music and professional wrestling) would make him versatile enough to co-carry the show.
Nick Lachey
The guy has served as a the host on both of the runs of "The Sing Off," and he is obviously comfortable on camera. His experience in the world of celebrity makes him a friendly face, and his charisma is off the charts.
Dee Snider
The former Twisted Sister frontman (who most recently made a name for himself as a Broadway star) has been a fixture on radio for years, and it's about time he made the transition to morning television. He has the gift of gab, has plenty of stories to tell and is an excellent interviewer.
Charles Barkley
The highlight of any basketball broadcast on TNT is watching the Round Mound of Rebound riff on whatever happens to be sticking in his craw that day. While he'd be missed on those broadcasts, the "Live!" gig would give the world a daily dose of Sir Charles, and while the guy truly deserves his own cable network, an hour every weekday morning is a good start.
Jon Hamm
Sure, he'd be missed on "Mad Men," but think about how awesome Hamm is on talk shows as a guest and on "Saturday Night Live" as a host. Don't you want that every day?
Lil Wayne
Just to see what Kelly Ripa would say.

Laguna Niguel Fifth-Grader Gets Governor's Award *JEFF*
Megan Conrad’s spotlight just got a lot bigger.
Already deemed a “Shining Star” at Marian Bergeson Elementary, the fifth-grader recently received an award from then-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and first lady Maria Shriver for her 25 hours of community service.
But Megan's involvement in charity work goes much deeper than that. As a Girl Scout since kindergarten and also on her own, she has grown her hair for Locks of Love, picked vegetables for Second Harvest Food Bank, baked cookies for the Ronald McDonald House and made blankets for Project Linus.
“I was really happy,” Megan said of the award. “I felt good about myself.”
Conrad was just one of 166 California residents, ages five to 92—including 13 students from the Capistrano Unified School District—who received a volunteer service award.
“You are being honored by the last gesture they made as they left office,” said Anna Bryson, co-chair of the event and trustee on the Capistrano Unified School District board.
The award was coordinated by CaliforniaVolunteers, a state office that manages programs and initiatives aimed at increasing the number of people engaged in service and volunteering.
While the governor was not on hand to personally deliver the awards, the ceremony's guests were treated to a speech and rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” by Jeff Timmons, founder and singer of 1990s boy band 98 Degrees, who was also honored for his work with several children’s charities.
“Keep doing what you’re doing for as long as you can, because you never know how it’s going to come back to you and the people you are going to impact,” Timmons said.

Nick Lachey Never Pretended to Be His Own Assistant
SOURCE
Looks like In Touch magazine got it wrong again. Contrary to what the tabloid claims, Nick Lachey isn't moonlighting as his own personal assistant.
"There is absolutely no truth to this rumor," Lachey's rep tells UsMagazine.com exclusively. "Nick has never pretended to be his own assistant or anyone else for that matter."
Not that Lachey doesn't keep an eye on his day-to-day schedule. A source tells Us that the 37-year-old Sing Off host -- who proposed to longtime love Vanessa Minnillo in November -- prefers to manage his own affairs.
"He is very self-sufficient and prefers to do as much as possible on his own. He has never had an assistant either," an insider says. "He has always done it all on his own. He's a guy's guy."

Nick Lachey, Vanessa Minnillo Say Aloha to Hawaii
Sat., Jan. 8, 2011 1:00 PM PST by Bruna Nessif
Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo have more to occupy their free time than just dress shopping and a seat chart these days.
Why? They've been booked, Danno. On Hawaii Five-0!
According to People, the newly engaged couple will jointly grace the small screen sometime in February. (Hello, sweeps!)
However, their roles won't be too far-fetched. Details on the episode are sparse, but Minnillo's character, Susan, will be engaged to Lachey's character, Tyler. So much for not being typecast.
Though they will actually be called upon to test their acting chops on the show—Minnillo's character, who works as a deckhand on a cruise boat, gets taken hostage by pirates!
Gasp!
This can only mean one thing: Nick Tyler to the rescue!

Nick Lachey, Vanessa Minnillo on Hawaii Five-O in February: CBS fans excited
The Islands of Hawaii are gorgeously displayed every week for fans who love the CBS Show. Nature’s eye candy along with a few handsome hunks is intertwined in-between a plot of murder and mayhem. Now there is more.
News of some new eye candy has been announced as Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are going to be on the show in February. E Online is reporting that the two will be on the case for an episode. Hawaii Five-O, the new face of the classic at first didn’t seem to resonate with the viewers, however over the holidays, the show has gained quite a bit of popularity. Perhaps it is the murders or the adorable pictures we see of the Island wishing we were on vacation there as well.
With the edition of Nice and Vanessa, there will be a fun element to a serious show about police basics. Now only are the two actors a great choice for the show, it is an added eye candy bones that we appreciate.
Hawaii Five-O is on CBS Monday nights. Check your local listings for show times.

Nick,Vanessa, Drew & Leah Return From Italy
Newly engaged duo Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo chatted with his brother Drew and his wife Lea at the airport in Florence on Saturday. The foursome spent the holidays in Cincinnati with family before heading off on their luxurious vacation to ring in 2011 in Tuscany. Nick joked in an interview with Rachael Ray that they could tie the knot while on their Italian getaway, though he quickly cleared up the confusion saying they were just celebrating their big announcement.
