Buy a pink Snoopy for breast cancer awareness, win a Mustang convertible

Kings Island and the Greater Cincinnati affiliate of the Susan G. Komen organization are teaming up to raise money for breast cancer awareness.

Through Aug. 21, Kings Island guests can support the fight against breast cancer or honor someone who has been affected by the disease. There are two ways to help:

  • Drew LacheyBuy a pink rubber Snoopy and be entered to win a car;
  • Visit the park during “Pink Days” through Aug. 21.

Purchase a pink rubber Snoopy online atwww.visitkingsisland.com/forthecure or at the park through Aug. 21. Snoopys are $5 for one for $20 for five. All Snoopys purchased online will be tossed into the Royal Fountains at Kings Island.

Singer and actor Drew Lachey will select one lucky Snoopy owner at 5 p.m. this Sunday. The winner will receive a new 2012 Mustang convertible.

The best deal on Pink Days tickets are available atwww.cincysavers.com. Log on now and save $23 off the regular front gate admission. Plus, $1 from every ticket sold will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Greater Cincinnati Affiliate.

The Mason amusement park helped raise $185,000 in last year’s “Pink Days” campaign. This year’s campaign has already surpassed the $118,000 mark, say Kings Island officials.
