The Sing-Off Season 2 Preview: Meet The Groups Is anyone else as excited as I am to see The Sing-Off return to NBC next month? We have a video from the premiere that’ll give you a taste of each competing groups’ talent as well as some details about their backgrounds.

The Sing-Off is a five-night talent competition series on NBC. Hosted by Nick Lachey, the competition features a cappella singing groups of various ages, backgrounds and walks of life. Set to judge the competition are Ben Folds (Ben Folds Five), Shawn Stockman (Boyz II Men) and Nicole Scherzinger ("The Pussycat Dolls").

I tuned in last year mostly due to Ben Folds’ participation. Nick Lachey refers to him as a musical genius in one of the videos we have below and I have to agree with him there. While Folds is certainly part of the reason I’ll be watching again this season, I’m also really looking forward to seeing the groups featured this time around. Last year Nota went on to take the big prize. Check out this video and see if you can predict which of the groups featured is a lock for the win…

Below is some more information about the groups in the competition and further down is a video featuring host Nick Lachey as he introduces the judges during the premiere episode.
