St. John’s, Antigua (TOP40 Charts/ Ocean Breeze) -- The Ocean Breeze Music Festival & Conference (Ocean Breeze) will take place in Antigua, November 12 – 14, 2010. We are pleased to announce some of the artists performing under the “Brightest Caribbean Stars” segment and some of the participating panelist that will be taking part in the conference on November 12, 2010. Joining the panel will be:

Mr. Jeff Timmons the founding member of the group 98 Degrees, the group went on to produce multi-platinum records that sold 11 million copies with 8 top ten singles and a Grammy nomination.
Ms.

Hilda Willis is an actress, writer, vocalist and director. She made her directing debut in the Antilles; by 1990 she had co-written and directed two musicals.
Mr. Joseph A. Johnson is a former Executive Producer/Host of Boston’s first commercial Caribbean music radio program on 1090AM WILD. He is the president and founder of CARAS, Inc (Caribbean Recording Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences) and Triple J. Communications.
Mr. Aubry Padmore of Caribvoice Radio an internet based radio station in Atlanta; he is an author, speaker and radio personality.

Join these speakers and others on a discussion of the past, present and future of the Caribbean music industry.

With over two hundred submissions to date for performance slots at the upcoming Ocean Breeze we have started to select some of the performing artists.

These artists will be performing under the “Caribbean Brightest Stars” segment. Reggae rock singer Lenny Deneb (St. Lucia). LeeiaMusic, (USA/Jamaica), Leeia sings a combination of R&B and reggae. Soca artist Mystique Hooper (USA/Guyana). Award winning ragga soca artist Sparkey (Antigua/Guyana). Soca artist Brother B, Grenada & Hip Hop artist Keldamuzik (USA), this is only a portion of the artists that will be performing at the Ocean Breeze Music Festival & Conference, Antigua November 12 -14, 2010.

Artists in the genres of calypso, soca, zouk and any other Caribbean genre are urged to submit.

The shows will take place on Saturday at Ffreys Bay and Sunday at Fort James, headliners will be announced in September. Access our website for further information.
