Nick Lachey Oct. 12Nick Lachey is blogging about his trip around the U.S. on The Everybody Wins Tour, just for OK!. Stay tuned to his blogs for all Nick’s news from the road as he surprises winners from Winnit.com.

Hey guys!

This weekend was pretty incredible! We made a delivery to three roommates from the University of Virginia, and when the bus pulled up to their house, I was shocked to see so many college students awake at 9:30 a.m.!

Once the sorority and fraternity houses next door figured out that we were there, the street was flooded with students asking about Winnit and what we were doing in Charlottesville. Being on the campus really reminded me of what it was like to be in college, and I would be lying if I said I didn’t get a little nostalgic. Who wouldn’t want to go back to college again if they had the chance, right?

After leaving Charlottesville, we headed down to Greenville, N.C., where we delivered an iPod nano that Deana Dorman won for $0.86. Her friends and family were so cool and they presented us with a box of canned food to donate to the next food bank on our tour!

On Saturday we spent some time in Knoxville, Tenn. with volunteers from the Second Harvest Food Bank. We were outside Neyland Stadium selling orange Power Towels for $5, which served as a much-needed donation to the food bank. At the end of the day we sold close to 7,000 towels, which was incredible! The University of Tennessee was nice enough to provide us with all-access field passes, which allowed us to stand alongside the UT players during the entire game. The Vols won 45-19 over Georgia and the energy inside the stadium was awesome!

After the game we headed up to Louisville, K.Y., to visit my Godson Tyler, who just turned 4. His birthday party was so cool and his little friends loved the Winnit.com bus! Obviously they’re a little too young to start bidding on Winnit, but they certainly loved our big yellow bus and they had so much fun climbing all over our bunks.

We have a few hours before we get to our next winner’s house so I think I might try to squeeze in a short nap. You might not believe me when I tell you this, but tour bus naps are some of the greatest naps I’ve ever taken!!

I’ll catch you guys later,

Nick
