The Pixel Project is proud to announce that Jeff Timmons (http://www.jefftimmons.com/), founding member of the Grammy-nominated Pop group 98 Degrees, has come on board as our Official Songwriter.

Jeff will be writing and producing The Pixel Project's official anthem which will be launched once the campaign goes live in early 2010.
The Pixel Project: Taking on the challenge of raising US$1 million (or more) for Malaysia's Women's Aid Organisation (http://www.wao.org.my) and the U.S.A.'s National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (http://www.ncadv.org) during the biggest global recession ever (according to Alan Greenspan) by taking fund-and-awareness raising into the 21st Century.

We are a global Web 2.0-driven fund and awareness raising project for the Violence Against Women (VAW) cause that proposes to raise US$1 milllion in funds by selling a world-exclusive million-pixel picture of a group global Celebrity Male Role Models online for US$1 per pixel while fully using the power of the Internet to drive viral word-by-mouth awareness raising on the grassroots level.

The Pixel Project is led by a growing team of volunteers who believe that no woman should face violence, EVER. Our team is currently scattered across 4 continents, 5 timezones and 10 cities, proving that there are no cultural or social barriers when it comes to this issue.

We are working our way towards making this project a reality, so please join us on our mission to cushion the blows of the recession for WAO and NCADV while raising awareness about the issue worldwide.

While we put things in place to make this project a reality, please help us reach 1 million group members on FB - tell 10 of your friends to tell 10 of their friends and get everyone on board! Help us get the message out and to grow the size of the audience we can educate about Violence Against Women!
